About this Report

Dragonfly AI gives creative teams the power to predict how the attention of their audience will be influenced by design decisions they make. This PowerPoint presentation generates an overview of our reports and metrics, combining the data and visuals in a consistent and efficient manner. This informs creative teams on how to:

  1. Win a greater share of attention in a competitive environment.

  2. Direct the attention of an audience in a more effective way.

What's included?

  1. Cover page - A summary of key Study information

  2. About this report - An overview of how to interpret the data in the report

  3. Attention score - A comparative view of performance across our Attention KPIs

  4. Study reports - A dedicated section for each report in your Study

What it doesn't include

It's important to understand that Dragonfly AI does not predict Post Attentive vision. Dragonfly only replicates what grabs pre-cognitive visual attention. We operate within the System 1 process of the brain, when we first glance at something, but before we are aware of what we are looking at.

It's to this end that Dragonfly AI cannot predict what a viewer will do once the viewer knows what they are looking at, as they will be influenced by mission, brand loyalty, level of planning, category pre-disposition, price & promo sensitivity etc.

Attention Score

Attention Score indicates the overall performance of an asset across our key attention KPIs.

Our Attention Score is based on:

  • Visibility - indicates whether an asset is likely to be noticed by viewers within one or more target contexts. Visibility is a weighted score, based on:

    • Probability of Perception - the chance of an asset being noticed

    • Share of Attention - the share of attention an asset receives

    • Attention Power Factor - the share of attention relative to size

  • Digestibility - indicates whether viewers' attention is properly directed towards key information. Digestibility is based on:

    • No. of AOIs - how much information is trying to be conveyed

    • Prominence - how much attention is focused on the AOIs

    • Visual Hierarchy (optional) - are AOIs seen in the right order

  • Clarity - indicates the degree of visual 'clarity' by understanding if there are too many areas competing for the viewers' attention. Clarity is based on:

    • No. of hotspots - how many areas are competing for attention

    • Prominence - how much attention is focused on the hotspots
