Emotion Metric

The Emotion Score captures how likely your asset is to trigger a strong emotional response – a key driver of creative effectiveness. This is expressed as a percentage.

Your Emotion Report also includes:

  • Visual Emotion πŸ–ΌοΈ – emotional response to visual elements

  • Text Emotion πŸ“ – emotional response to written content

  • Reaction πŸ’¬ – the overall emotional response (positive, negative, neutral, or mixed)

Visual and text emotion KPIs use a 7‑point scale from very positive to very negative.

Visual Emotion captures the emotional response your assets visual elements are likely to trigger.

How does it work?

  • The model analyses the visual elements against the scientifically proven, universal characteristics which influence emotional response, such as facial expressions, colour tone, spatial balance, and structural clarity.

Copy Emotion measures the emotional response your assets' text elements are likely to trigger.

How does it work?

  • The model analyses the text elements of the asset against the scientifically proven, universal characteristics which influence emotional response, such as emotional language, tone, sentence structure, rhythm, and linguistic techniques such as repetition or metaphor.

The model analyses the combination of the text elements and the visual elements against the scientifically proven, universal characteristics which influence emotional response, to determine the overall emotional response.
