Overview

What's new in Studio 2.10.0?

1. ProPresent

Save time and elevate your presentation game with our one-click export to PowerPoint.

How does it work?

ProPresent generates a full-length PowerPoint presentation for your Study.

What's included?

The report includes the following sections:

  1. Cover page - A summary of key Study information

  2. About this report - An overview of how to interpret the data in the report

  3. Attention score - A comparative view of performance across our Attention KPIs

  4. Study reports - A dedicated section for each report in your Study

Where can I find it?

The option to export your Study as a downloadable PowerPoint file is available in the export dropdown on the Study page (see below).

2. Attention KPIs

Our new and improved attention KPIs make it easier than ever before to compare assets based on predicted Visibility, Clarity and Digestibility. Our new Attention Score combines all three to provide a single basis for comparison.

Attention Score

What does it tell me?

Our new Attention Score indicates the overall performance of an asset across our key attention KPIs.

How does it work?

Our Attention Score is a weighted score, based on:

  • Visibility (optional)

  • Clarity

  • Digestibility (optional)

Weightings: Visibility (0.5), Clarity (0.25), Digestibility (0.25)

Where can I find it?

The Attention Score will be available within Studio.

Visibility

What does it tell me?

Our new Visibility KPI indicates whether an asset is likely to be noticed by viewers within one or more target contexts.

How does it work?

Visibility is a weighted score, based on:

  • Probability of Perception - the chance of an asset being noticed

  • Share of Attention - the share of attention an asset receives

  • Attention Power Factor - the share of attention relative to size

Visibility requires at least one context to be provided.

Where can I find it?

The Visibility KPI is available within the Contexts report in Studio.

Available to Context customers only.

Speak to your Customer Success Manager or email [email protected] for more details.

Clarity

Clarity supersedes and improves on the 'Digestibility' score previously found in the Hotspots report. The new naming better describes the insight and provides clearer differentiation from the Digestibility score found in the Areas of Interest report.

What does it tell me?

Our new Clarity KPI indicates the degree of visual 'clarity' within an image by understanding if there are too many areas competing for the viewers' attention.

How does it work?

Clarity is based on:

  • No. of hotspots - how many areas are competing for attention

  • Prominence - how much attention is focused on the hotspots

Where can I find it?

The Clarity KPI is available within the Hotspots report in Studio.

Digestibility

Digestibility supersedes and improves on the 'Visual Hierarchy' score previously found in the Areas of Interest report. Digestibility is now available as soon as you draw an Area of Interest. Setting a target visual hierarchy is now optional.

What does it tell me?

Our new Digestibility KPI indicates whether key information is easy for viewers to 'digest' by understanding whether viewers' attention is properly directed towards that information.

How does it work?

Digestibility is based on:

  • No. of AOIs - how much information is trying to be conveyed

  • Prominence - how much attention is focused on the AOIs

  • Visual Hierarchy (optional) - are AOIs seen in the right order

Digestibility requires at least one context to be provided.

Where can I find it?

The Digestibility KPI is available within the Areas of Interest report in Studio.

3. Workflow updates

  1. As part of the rollout of our Attention Score, Studies are now limited to one instance of each report type. Duplication of reports is no longer necessary as all metrics are now automatically included within data and presentation export formats.

  2. Attention bias is now available as an advanced feature and set at the Study level to ensure consistency across all reports within a Study.
