Categorize & organise the content within your account.

Use cases are used to categorize your content by indicating the specific types of assets & experiences being analyzed (e.g. Social Ads vs Product Packaging).

Key benefits

  • Searching & Filtering

    • e.g. automatically suggesting benchmarks that are relevant to your study

  • Visibility & Collaboration

    • e.g. helping other users to identify the purpose of studies within the account

  • Usage & Reporting

    • e.g. tracking the types of content being tested on your account


Supported items

Use cases can be added to the following items:

  1. Studies

    1. Indicates the type of content being tested

  2. Contexts

    1. Indicates what type of content is supported by the context

  3. Context Packs

    1. Indicates what type of content is supported by the context pack

  4. Benchmarks

    1. Indicates the type of content that powers the benchmark


Use case categories

Use cases are organised into 6 categories:

Advertising

Use cases related to different forms of advertising (e.g. Display Ads)

Direct Mail

Use cases relating to different forms of direct mail (e.g. Flyers)

E-commerce

Use cases relating to product listings on e-commerce websites (e.g. Hero Images)

Email Marketing

Use cases relating to email marketing (e.g. Email Templates)

In-Store

Use cases relating to shopper marketing within physical stores (e.g. Packaging)

UX/CRO

Use cases relating to user interface design (e.g. Landing Pages)


How to add a use case

1. Studies

Use cases - Studies

When creating a new Study, you will be prompted to select a use case. The use case should indicate the type of content or experience being tested within that Study.

If your use case isn't listed, select 'Other' and let us know in the feedback box what use case you would like to see added to the list.

2. Contexts (requires Contexts subscription)

Use cases - Contexts

When uploading a new Context, you will be prompted to select a use case. The use case should indicate the type of content that can be inserted into the context.

If your use case isn't listed, select 'Other' and let us know in the feedback box what use case you would like to see added to the list.

3. Context Packs (requires Contexts subscription)

Use cases - Context packs

When creating a new Context Pack, you will be prompted to select a use case. The use case should indicate the type of content that can be inserted into the Contexts within the Context Pack.

If your use case isn't listed, select 'Other' and let us know in the feedback box what use case you would like to see added to the list.

4. Benchmarks (requires Benchmarks subscription)

When creating a new Benchmark, you will be prompted to select a use case. The use case should indicate the type of content being benchmarked.

If your use case isn't listed, select 'Other' and let us know in the feedback box what use case you would like to see added to the list.
