Testing your visual content in its final context is vital to ensuring your audience will notice and engage with it. The Contexts report will allow you to quickly and easily mock up your content into a context image of your choosing; ultimately allowing you to test how likely your content is to be seen in the real world.
Note: This feature is not included in all Dragonfly subscriptions, if you'd like access, please reach out to your account manager, or [email protected].
How to upload context images
1. The first option is to upload a context image while in the study. Select 'upload a file' and a new screen will appear; here you will need to choose the location your content will sit inside of your context image. Simply use the mouse to draw an area- don't worry if your content doesn't fit perfectly inside the area, you can select either a colour or a transparent background for a seamless fit.
2. Depending on your subscription, you may see another option, which involves our powerful and brand new Context Library. This allows you to upload imagery to a database which can be pulled into a study at any time to give you a more comprehensive layer of analysis across a range of contexts.
You can upload a selection of images to the Library, draw their dropzones and select their usecase (possibly adding them to a Context Pack), then once in the study you can click 'select context' for an individual context image or 'context pack' for a group of context images to get them dropped into your study.
Visibility
What does it tell me?
The Visibility KPI indicates whether an asset is likely to be noticed by viewers within one or more target contexts.
How does it work?
Visibility is a weighted score, based on:
Probability of Perception - the chance of an asset being noticed
Share of Attention - the share of attention an asset receives
Attention Power Factor - the share of attention relative to size
Note: Visibility requires at least one context to be provided.
Where can I find it?
The Visibility KPI is available within the Contexts report in Studio.

Side Panel
Clicking the trophy icon on the side panel allows you to compare how your content is performing across different versions - toggle between the two options with the drop-down menu:
Context Averages: Calculates the average metric score for each version, across all context images you upload.
Context Performance: Ranks versions by their metric scores for the currently selected context image.
