Hotspot Detection and Analysis
Our Hotspots report type automatically define and display your most visually salient regions.
All hotspots are identified to pixel width accuracy. So you'll immediately see if there are too many elements competing for your audience's attention.
The individual Hotspots are scored using our Probability of Perception metric. You can also choose to use our handy Share of Attention, Attention Power Factor or Local Attention Score, depending on which metric is most appropriate for your design goals.

Clarity
What does it tell me?
The Clarity KPI indicates the degree of visual 'clarity' within an image by understanding if there are too many areas competing for the viewers' attention.
How does it work?
Clarity is based on:
No. of hotspots - how many areas are competing for attention
Prominence - how much attention is focused on the hotspots
Where can I find it?
The Clarity KPI is available within the Hotspots report in Studio.
Note: Clarity supersedes and improves on the 'Digestibility' score previously found in the Hotspots report. The new naming better describes the insight and provides clearer differentiation from the Digestibility score found in the Areas of Interest report.
Gaze Path
Our Gaze Path feature within the Hotspot report shows you the most probable path your audience takes through your content with scientifically validated gaze sequences.
After the hotspots in your design are identified, they are then ordered based on their active metric scores and position within the image.
This allows you to lower the risk of releasing content that is dull or contains too many distracting elements by seeing if the hotspots identified correlate with your intended visual hierarchy.
